Project 3 Genres

For project 3 I have decided to present my research question using an Instagram, a powerpoint and a flyer. My research topic was on Foster Care programs, specifically the nonprofit organization in my hometown called Forward Paths. I think Instagram would be a great way to communicate because Instagram is a very popular social media site. It currently has over 77.6 million users and would a great way to communicate information about a nonprofit organization since it is free. My post would include personal photos of the children or staff in the program followed with captions including information such as facts about foster care, the upcoming events or new information about the program. The powerpoint would be used to inform the audience about the program itself. It would include information about the program and why it was created. It will also include how to become involved. The flyer would be used as an information flyer to inform both people who would want to help out in the program and for those who need help from the program.
