S-Town and Ysrael

S-town

1. Brian Reed Is an American author and the man who runs the podcast.

2. John B. McLemore is the main character in the podcast. He initially called Reed asking for help and to talk about the shit town Alabama. He talks about there being a cover-up murder in his town and talks about all the negative aspects about it.

3. Brian is in S-Town because of his email he received from John about Shit-town and the murder mystery that took place in his town

4. The podcast starts with the topic of a clock and time. The timing is spread throughout a few years. He focuses on the time fragments that are most important but skips thought the years through the story

Ysrael by Junot Diaz:

1. Ysrael is a man from Ocoa. He is Ocoa. He had his face bitten off by a pig and was known for looking scary. Other boys harassed him because of the way he looked.

2. Yunior and Rafa are in the campo because their mother sends them there every summer. She sends them there because she works long hours over summer and cant take care of them all the time when school is out.

3. Rafa and Yunior are brothers and have a typical big brother, little brother relationship. Yunior always follows Rafa around and in a way, idolizes him. Yunior is sometimes very pushy with Rafa but he usually is very nice and wants to impress Rafa.
